The story of Jeff the Killer follows the transformation of a 13-year-old boy named Jeffrey Woods into a notorious serial killer. 

The Transformation

• The Conflict: After moving to a new neighborhood, Jeff and his brother Liu are attacked by three bullies: Randy, Keith, and Troy. Jeff defends his brother by brutally beating them.
• The Sacrifice: When the police arrive, Liu takes the blame to protect Jeff and is sent to juvenile detention.
• The Incident: Later, at a neighbor’s birthday party, the bullies attack Jeff again. During the fight, Jeff is doused in bleach and vodka (or alcohol) and set on fire by a lighter. 

The Descent into Madness

• The Hospital: Jeff survives but wakes up in the hospital with ghastly, leathery white skin and black hair. Instead of being horrified, he becomes obsessed with his new "beautiful" face.
• Self-Mutilation: Upon returning home, Jeff loses his mind entirely. He carves a permanent smile into his cheeks (a "Glasgow smile") so he never has to exert energy to smile again. He also burns off his eyelids so he can always see his own face. 

The Murders

• Family Massacre: When his mother finds him and realizes he has gone insane, Jeff kills both of his parents. He then goes to his brother Liu's room and whispers his signature catchphrase, "Go to sleep," before stabbing him.
• The Legacy: Jeff escapes and becomes a serial killer who stalks victims in their homes at night, repeating his catchphrase before they die.

Note on Versions: While the "Jeffrey Woods" story above is the most famous, the original 2008 version by creator Sesseur features Jeffrey C.
